Pros

good health insurance; that's about it.

Cons

The work I was hired to do never materialized, so I was regulated to little scraps here and there. Then, a new assignment came along, but it was only assigned to an ;elite' group (of men) was selected to work on this. My boss was in this group, left without even saying goodbye to me. He didn't contact me for six months. He told me 'to just sit there and look busy'. So I used to sit at my cube all day, getting scraps of work. The day I came back from surgery, I got laid off.

Pros

Can't think of anything at the moment.

Cons

Everyone at this company is willing to stab you in the back to get ahead. People will spend extra hours after work pretending to be busy just to kiss butt, when in reality the work is not that challenging and supervisors don't understand what you're doing anyway. Using your vacation days is frowned upon, and you are expected to work from no matter where you are, and 90% of employees are required to travel.

Pros

Annual associate sale is great, as well as discounted products. Stock was doing really well until recently.

Cons

Absolutely horrendous leadership. The CEO justifies chaos at every opportunity. Relentless prioritization and associate recognition is a complete joke. The ELT has no ability to prioritize, leading to shifting EMERGENCIES every single day. Every email received from the COO includes “URGENT! PLEASE PRIORITIZE!”. The personal disrespect and hostility from leadership is an underlying current at Shark Ninja that is inescapable. There is zero work/life balance, especially as you reach upper levels of the org. You WILL be expected to work 12 hour days. You WILL be expected to respond real time to emails and teams messages on the weekends and while on vacation. You will NOT be permitted to have a family, health, or personal emergency without being judged and looked down upon. As payment for your sacrifices and dedication, you will be publicly flogged by senior leadership. The performance review cycle is a joke. I was not asked for a self review, was given no performance appraisal, no one was consulted regarding my performance. I was delivered a score with no feedback. Substantial accomplishments and feedback from across the organization that I am “a rockstar” was not reflected. If you value your self worth, run, do not walk away from this company.
