SO much potential for Sharkninja to be even better
Pros
Some of the best parts of working here: - The development teams are filled with incredibly intelligent, hard working people. - Pace is fast, and you should never have a boring day - Company outlook is good, growth ahead - General sense of real pride in the products that we launch - Actual innovation happening on a regular basis, with consumers as main focus - You will make a lot of really good connections that will stay with you forever
Cons
Some of the parts that might make you want to leave: - Leadership tends to panic under the gaze of the CEO, leading to shifting focus week-to-week, which leads to snap-decision making without full context, often resulting in the delays we are always so desperate to avoid - You need to know yourself well enough to be able set boundaries that prevent you from burning out - If you like proper processes, documentation and best practices, this place is not for you. Corners will get cut where they can, most new projects are a new process, and a general focus on time-to-delivery does not allow time for 'proper' development. While this works for Sharkninja, it can be incredibly frustrating for people coming from a very process-oriented company, and will frustrate employees leaving Sharkninja if this is all they have known. - Late night calls, expectation to be reachable most hours of the day. Lots of travel to suppliers.
