Pros

Shell is a brilliant place to work, due to its size, global reach. Every day you speak to colleagues / customers from different parts of the world. The people who work for Shell are bright and professional. The company is in the middle of a very interesting transition which will shape the future.

Cons

Due to it's size, navigating the company takes a lot of effort, and investing in stakeholder relationships is critical to your longterm success. Career progression can be slow and the remuneration is ok. Time will also tell whether the company can transform itself enough to come out a winner in the energy transition.
