The company isn't moving in a great direction, never any sort of firings but going back on promises to force people out. It's shady and they're not being straightforward with it.

Many decisions have been made unilaterally that many employees are unhappy with. For one, during COVID, they claimed that there never would be a full "return to office" mandate, and it would be "up to the individual department", They have, however, gone back on this and have now done a company-wide RTO mandate. In addition, this decision was made with little input from employees and seemingly without warning. They are also in the midst of a big push where much of their work is outsourced to a vendor. This, along with RTO, makes one question whether this is a covert way of getting rid of employees. So far, this project has had a number of issues (such as unrealistic deadlines and poor planning) that are obvious to the "lower" employees, while upper management is seemingly "full speed ahead".
