Pros

Excellent benefits. Good pay. Promotion opportunities. Ability to move up fast.

Cons

Must be willing to relocate for management opportunities and growth. Some store managers refuse to work weekends or nights. Upper management can be tough depending on the stores sales and profit.

Pros

Sherwin-Williams is a great place to start your career, especially if you are just out of college. They provide in depth training and fantastic benefits, the pay is also pretty good.

Cons

The hours absolutely suck-there is no reason that Sherwin-Williams needs to be open on a Sunday, and no reason to be open until 6 on a Saturday. Upper management also thinks they can control everything, and that there always needs to be a manager in every store to babysit because they don't trust their other employees.

Pros

Flexible hours, made for good money in my time off while I was still in high school

Cons

Did not get the sense that it was easy to move up the ladder within the company. Had to work some Saturdays and Sundays since retail is open 7 days a week.
