Pros

some freedom to run your own store but not much. many choices to stock and sell and a world of information on the computer

Cons

unless you had college experience, you are on borrowed time. no respect for employees. an un- reachable budget to get bonus. management likes you when your numbers are good, but forget about you when times are tough with business, especially in these economic times when sales are tough to come by. pricing themselves out of business and do not want to hear it. i can go on and on....

Pros

I started with SW before college, worked through it, and then became an assistant when I graduated. The company provides excellent benefits once full time status is reached and good pay.

Cons

At least in my district we were very understaffed. Stores are not given enough hours, so busy shifts only have one or two people at the most.
