Pros

-Started working with zero paint, tinting, or retail knowledge, management was understanding and supportive. Allowing me to grow and receive good pay. -Meeting different people, networking with contractors and interior designers, farmers and so on.. - Feeling part of the community, selling paint and working with contractors for projects in your town.

Cons

-Those holding bachelors who enroll in the management training program receive unfair attention and promotions opposed to those without schooling yet have more history and knowledge in comparison. (as mentioned here numerous times) -company infrequently holds pointless and childish "role-playing" meetings, requiring employees to sometimes drive hours to attend them.

Pros

Had the opportunity to gain sales experience. I also was given responsibility to negotiate sales prices with contractors. Overall, customers were really nice and friendly. Good work environment.

Cons

Have to relocate to move up. Putting up inventory when truck days were sometimes tedious because you have to assist customers and put up pallets full of paint.

Pros

When I started it was great. They allowed you to run things they way that works for you and see results.

Cons

As time went on, available part time hours allowed were very little. You had 3 or more people micromanaging you. My sales manager was suppose to be my boss but the city manager would ride a long and act as my boss and and contradict what the sales manager told me. They promote people who tell them what they want to here instead of people who get results.
