Pros

Plenty of training available if you have a good DM.

Cons

Many managers have at least a foot out the door, making it hard to build a store that operates well. They meet budget and the DM is happy, but the rest of the store is struggling. There is constant internal movement and they cannot keep staff, partially to low pay but also working conditions and lack of incentive. There is also a lot of issues for women and POC working in the field and they are not well supported by management.

Pros

Working inside under air-conditioning most of the time and management is flexible if you have school.

Cons

Lots of physical work, have to work weekends, and must delegate with customers.
