Not rewarded for hard work or knowledge. If you don't network with the right people, you aren't getting promoting or decent raises. People who fail and cost the company money fail upward to better positions, rather than lose their job or responsibility. Zero to no opportunities for advancement outside of Cleveland. If you don't agree with with the ideas of management your going nowhere. Grade school mentality when people are identified for promotions, If your popular with the managers you can go far even if more qualified, educated, and knowledgeable people are competting for the same jobs or promotions. Chemistry courses are required in the technical labs for jobs that won't need that type of education, while no management courses or experience are required for management positions. Some older chemist and scientist only have high school educations, while newer people are required to have at least 16 credit hours of college chemistry.
Communincations are exteremely poor throughout the company. Salaries of Grade levels are kept Top Secret!
