Pros

Training was decent for Assistant Manager. The company needs to be careful of who They put in charge of interns and manager trainees. The wrong person can give the employee a bad impression of the compAny. In my opinion no one should work over 40 hours a week. Instead hire more people. Learn good retention strategies and train well. Show your employees recognition for their hard work in the stores.

Cons

I also don’t believe lead gen sales calls are very effective. Most people are skeptical of sales calls. Just have good conversations with people in the stores and take the time to visit their job sites. Also, this is what the sales reps are for.

Pros

-Decent medical benefits and 401K match of 6%.

Cons

-Light staffing model which creates a domino effect on mental and physical exhaustion. -48 hour work weeks. -National paint shortage -Pandemic and required to wear a mask while clients do not have to wear a mask (Exposure to 50% of clients). -No quality of life with family. -3rd party called "The Hartford" prevented me from being paid on both paternal leave and getting injured for a 6-day period. -No accountability for employees due to light hiring practices and needing to maintain low-quality personnel. -Anywhere between 15,000-50,000 lbs of paint material to be unloaded and put away weekly. With a light staffing model, personal is prone to injury and catalyzes long-term injuries with shoulders and knees.

Pros

Customer base is always interesting. Customers become family. Always a new challenge with lots of problem solving.

Cons

Dealing with customer complaints regularly mostly due to ignorance/lack of education. Staffing/turnover. Being pulled in 30 directions at once. Physical job/body will wear down over time. Very hard to take time off for vacation or sick days/care for child with lack of staffing.
