Pros

Good salary. Decent benefits. 6% 401k matching.

Cons

Not what the job used to be. Heavily micromanaged. Its about who you know to work your way up. Management is completely disconnected from what the job priorities should be and what they were implementing. My advice is to stay away as this company does not have the best interests of its employees at heart.

Pros

If you kiss up to upper management enough you might be considered for promotion

Cons

Way too many expectations from upper management. I ran a profitable store, hit all financial goals and was forced to resign because of lack of credit accounts opened. If your District Manager has it out for you, they will get rid of you regardless of how well you do in the manager role. Also depending on who your District Manager is, you might not ever be looked at for promotion. I ran a successful store for 3 years and applied for 3 Outside Sales promotions and was not even interviewed! Rude corporation who only cares about corporate executives.
