Pros

Opportunites to have hands on experiences with a variety of instrumentation and work on projects that eventually had publications

Cons

From an intern perspective, there isn't any cons. From how I saw permanent staff worked, I think there is a shortage of staff and they were given much responsibilities in a short timeline.

Pros

- Short working hours from 8.30am to 5pm - Usual benefits

Cons

- Limited food options - No pantry with tables and chairs - Change of JD upon joining on the first day - Taking on non-related scope of work to initial JD - Micromanage every steps of a task - Was been informed that there is hybrid working arrangement (3 days in office 2 days WFH), however it will only start after you are confirmed. Even once confirmed, only entitled 1 day WFH, not follow the old birds 2 days WFH, which is quite unfair.
