Pros

A handful of the employees at Shipt are fantastic! They're some of the best people I've ever worked with at any job I've ever had. Free snacks and food all the time. A mostly progressive environment. The pay was good and it really felt some of the time like you were contributing to something bigger than just your own tasks - some of the time.

Cons

The rest of the employees at Shipt came across as very judgemental. It felt almost like high school politics and if you weren't part of the "in crowd," you were just a tool to be used until you weren't useful anymore.

We strive to create an open environment that supports personal and professional freedoms and growth. In an effort to better connect, we conduct Friday information sessions exploring roles, functions, and initiatives of different departments. We also try to host events and encourage interactions that promote team bonding.

Pros

Flexibility and customers that take care of me

Cons

Corporate greed at its finest. Makes it painfully obvious they care about their bottom line and that’s it. Pay keeps decreasing. Our really good customers get bundled with non responsive non tippers. Causing us to do 2 orders for the price of 1. Most of our regulars we have built relationships with go to new shoppers and customers get bad service. If you do have to call hq for help most of the time they are reading from scripts. Their answer for everything is to drop you from the order. Constant app glitches. Causing communication issues with customers. Roll out more and more terrible ideas and make it seem like shoppers want it. No shopper wants to be forced to take triple orders in 100 degree heat. I feel like people at hq have no idea what their shoppers even do. Absolutely no gratitude for long standing loyal shoppers
