Pros

Amazing culture, flexible schedule, and helpful management.

Cons

Pay could be better, they need more call center locations, and the bonuses and raises are only once a year.

Pros

Before I came to Shipt and while I interviewed, I asked anyone I knew to tell me their honest opinion of working at Shipt. I was told overwhelmingly positive things, and everyone I spoke with seemed so happy.....which seemed unrealistic to me. After more than year into my role, I can now say that they were not lying or sugar coating - Shipt truly is a special place to work. The people here genuinely care about the work that they do and the people with whom they work. I kept waiting for the shiny newness to wear off, but it is still here and gets stronger the longer I am here. Don't get me wrong, every job has its days, but the overwhelming majority are good days. Also, the benefits & perks are fantastic. You hear about some things before coming on, but there are perks galore that you don't even realize until you are a part of the team - that's always nice! Lastly, our leadership truly cares. Being in the role that I am, I sometimes get an inside look at real conversations between our leadership team. The passion and care that they show outwardly to our members & shoppers is real & heartfelt. It isn't just a script - they truly believe and rally behind the things they say. They also care deeply about our team at HQ. Never has this been more evident than during this time of Covid-19 & racial reckoning. I am so proud to work for Shipt - proud of the work that we do and the way that we serve people.

Cons

Shipt operates in a very fast-paced environment. Even though we are outwardly a delivery service, inwardly we are a nimble tech company, constantly adjusting to changes in demand, regulations, the market, etc. I enjoy the fast pace and the challenges that come with it, but it can be a lot to handle at times. If you thrive on a fast track, handle change well & have a knack at anticipating needs, this shouldn't be too much of an obstacle. But if you prefer a slower pace where things stay pretty much the same, this might not be the place for you.

Pros

-401k with company match. -Target stock is doing well. -New hire pay could be competitive in SF office since Target has tons of money.

Cons

-Impossible to stop losing market share to competitors such as Instacart, Walmart etc. -Impossible to losing tens of million dollars each year except laying off, Target does not care right now, but they may change their mind soon. -Reducing the cost by cutting shopper pay instead of stopping hiring for projects not helpful for business at all. - No one cares about the future of the company, it is a completely Target's company now.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback! We agree that our 401k program is very competitive. Target is our parent company and we are able to leverage certain resources at times, but Shipt is an independent subsidiary of Target and will continue operate as such. Thank you again for your feedback!
