Pros

The culture at Sidecar Health is top tier. No one here has an ego and everyone does a great job of respecting one another and working together. We also have recharge days that allow us to frequently have four day work weeks. Most importantly, the mission of the company is to solve one of the most important problems Americans face today.

Cons

It's a startup so there's can be a lot of ambiguity at times. Personally, I don't see that as a huge con, but I can see how it can be for others.

Pros

They are a very diverse company. They have some nice benefits. You get to utilize the sidecar health insurance plan. They give you at least one day off a month,

Cons

They want you to be a machine. All they care about is production and not work life balance. There are no checks and balances and no opportunity for employees to give feedback on their workload or treatment. Almost everyone on my team hated my manager and her style of management, but no one wanted to speak up in fear of retaliation.

Pros

I've been at Sidecar Health for almost five years. We've been through a lot but there's nothing better than knowing you're working on something that is hugely impactful. We've made hard decisions, have changed course a few times, but overall, we've stayed focused and true to our mission. The team is incredible. I feel so lucky to have smart colleagues who care about doing good things for the world. We get to solve challenging problems. We have open communication. I have legit work-life balance. That said, it's not easy. But it's so so worth it. Couldn't be more engaged and energized, even after all these years.

Cons

It's frustrating that the rest of the world wants change but is slow to change. Being in an industry redefining company driving innovation is hard full stop.
