Pros

Great Company and people can be very helpful except when things are going "bad".

Cons

Managers are not leaders and speaking up can be taken as bad attitude and going against management.

Pros

Stable Company which is gearing up for long-term growth, good benefits and compensation plans. A lot of emphasis is placed on personal/ professional growth and development

Cons

Supervisors and managers seem to be very self- serving. Poor interdepartmental cooperation and communication. "Percepetion" counts more than performance. There is a high amount of workplace gossiping

Pros

Great employees. Good pay. Good benefits.

Cons

Working environment is not very good. Very poor management. Employees are constantly told to do more with less resources. European management dictates global policies with no concept of how things are done in other countries - they feel their processes are successful in their country so they should be successful everywhere in the world. The company is trying for world domination, but is always playing catch-up to its competitors and does not like that the competitors have more market share and their overhead costs are less This means cuts and restructuring is almost an annual occurrence just to try to become more efficient at lower costs. Employees fear for their jobs and local management is too scared to challenge anything - resulting in tremendous amounts of red tape, poor quality, un-happy employees with no motivation to do well. An example of the poor management - the company sets deadlines on projects before they know what the details are and then tells employees if they don't want to do the job, there are plenty of contractors who can do it instead of them.
