Pros

-Talented teams and veteran leadership -Customer empathy -Friendly coworkers who truly care about each other's well-being -Exciting product that is changing what's possible for data-driven companies -Lots of opportunity both company and individual growth -Small team environment (for now)— we're hiring! -Plenty of opportunity to make significant impact on company trajectory -Collaborative environment with opportunity to work across multiple teams -Beautiful office in downtown San Francisco -Traditional startup perks like meal plans, stocked kitchen, 401(k), full health insurance (+dental and vision), pre-tax commuter benefits, flexible work hours, etc. -Just about every mechanism for brewing coffee imaginable

Cons

-Traditional startup environment where processes are still being fine-tuned, so expect some speed bumps along the way while teams grow and get figured out. -Growing quickly, so things are always moving around. Be prepared.

That advice section though! Thank you for the careful consideration you put into your advice to us. Feedback like this is a big part of what inspired us to fully define our values and set up the Sigma culture team. We take it all to heart and use this to keep finding new ways to improve. It's awesome to see the words "customer empathy" in this review. That is such a core component of Sigma culture, we're glad you feel the same. It comes down to the way you feel your power to have an impact. Thank you for being down for the ride with us!

Pros

Coworkers are friendly and talented. So lunches are fun, and there's always a person a couple cubes away to help you get unblocked. I feel like a company mentioning they have a good work/life balance is like a person telling you they don't like drama -- if it were true, they wouldn't be bringing it up. Start time is flexible; tasks are well-scoped and well-documented; and no one seems over-worked. The "legacy" code here is like six months old, yet we still seem to be getting things done. A credit to the team and the culture, I suppose.

Cons

It'd be nice to grow more diverse as we introduce new members to the team.

Yay for work-life balance! That's a keen observation and we agree- a good work life balance is evident in company culture. So glad that you also brought up diversity, we've been making a major push in that area and we hope you've noticed. Sigma should reflect the diverse array of talent that's out there, thank you for caring about this too!

Pros

Amazing product, free lunch, talented staff, strong sales team.

Cons

There is a widespread perception among employees that senior leadership operates as a tightly aligned inner circle, resulting in highly centralized control and constant micromanagement. Employees felt closely monitored through internal systems, while leadership appeared to operate without the same level of oversight, coming and going freely. Leadership engagement with employees is performative and limited to public or scripted settings. Day to day culture is overwhelmingly numbers-driven. ARR, TAM, OMNI, and NDR dominate priorities, leaving little room for collaboration, trust, or human connection. From an operations perspective, core functions feel fragmented and outsourced rather than owned. Operations lack structure and maturity, with unclear accountability and weak boundaries between senior, senior leaders. Employees frequently experienced unprofessional behavior, contributing to concerns around compliance, legal rigor, integrity, loyalty, and overall culture. Prospective employees should proceed with caution.
