5yThank you for your review and feedback. We appreciate the opportunity to learn how we can improve the employee experience and do want to demonstrate that we care about our employees.
A few items to consider as we are reviewing this, and we would encourage early communication on any concerns related to these items as well.
While we do have systems in place to provide pay increases to employees, we understand that it may be frustrating if someone doesn't qualify or receive one in a particular year. Each person's performance and circumstances are evaluated in this regard per the Company's policies.
We have taken taken steps to communicate company policies on PTO early including providing this policy in the employee handbook readily available online as well as sent to employees in their new hire paperwork. We have also implemented a step to have employees acknowledge they have read the handbook and related policies to ensure employees understand how they can get the best out of their benefits such as PTO well before exiting the Company. Also, we outline the policies for contracts ending early in our agreements, so there is a clear expectation on how these will be handled. We also offer to provide additional new contract options to employees who wish to participate in that process and interview for other opportunities.
Also, we have an annual review of benefits in which the company has taken on increasingly higher costs each year as healthcare and related benefits increase. We provided six plan options this year to ensure there was a plan that could best serve everyone's different needs. We benchmarked our employee contributions against the market with similar companies in our industry and size and found that we were more competitive in what we offered employees per that analysis through an independent third-party broker. While we are always open to feedback on specifically what would have improved this area for employees, we have taken the steps outlined above.
