The work is easy and most customers come in looking to purchase for a happy occasion like a birthday, anniversary, engagement or wedding. Easy to sell to clients if you can understand what they are looking for
Cons
There is no real opportunity to move upward. Depending on the location and the people you work with, the environment can be fun but also toxic. Coworkers can take clients away and take credit for your sales, which is more upsetting when you've been working with a client for a long time. Depending on management, they can be flexible but also rigid with the schedule and any changes you may need to make, even when appropriate time is given. However, they may make last minute schedule changes within 24 hours without notice. This makes it difficult to make any plans before or after work. More tedious tasks are added on when processing client purchases or repairs, which takes more time to complete and delays the ability to assist the next customer.
