      I loved helping ppl. Really competitiv which was fun to me. Not hard manual work at all! Trying on rings all day wasn't bad either

      Cons

      Co workers tend to sit around and gossip all day. Watch your sales if you there they may be stolen.

      Pros

      I love repairing jewelery. There is a lot of job security with this company. From a business perspective, they absolutely know what they are doing. We were profitable when there was no reason we should have been. For that, I sincerely thank them. There is on the job training. You can spend a whole week developing new skills at the home office and it is on the company's dime. For managers, there are bonuses and incentive trips, which can be extremely nice. Before I get into the cons, I want to say this is a solid company with a strong plan to succeed no matter where the economy is at.

      Cons

      Middle management is a glorified babysitting position. The Training Department (period).Our supervisors seem to be out of touch with what is going on out here. We need them. They were, once, in our positins and, even though their knowledge is outdated, they are the only ones that can stand up for us and begin to understand what we deal with now. Our merchandise is embarassing. (That is where some of the job security comes from because we have to keep fixing it.) It's virtually impossible to get promoted as a jeweler. Seems like there are more and more hoops for people to jump through. It has really affected employee morale.

      Pros

      Great pay, benefits, incentives,great results for producing numbers,you get to dress nice, you are the number one jeweler in the country.

      Cons

      Customers are idiots(could be the city I'm located in), being a manager, your over worked and under paid for that work. So much pressure. Your only as good as the numbers you produce for the company. You can grow fast and fall even faster. Don't trust anyone but yourself.
