Good place to be -- depends on team

Pros

The SWE department puts a heavy focus on continuous improvement. I see constant milestones related to sunsetting old systems or getting rid of old technology / architecture. Work-life balance is decent here, you are not expected to be on the clock at all times (dependent on team I guess).

Cons

Like most companies, every team within SWE is different and your mileage may vary. Other teams I have noticed different vibes which largely depends on the manager for that team.
