      Pros

      Swiss company with a high company governance profile. Products with extremely high technical quality. Decentralized management helps the company to have a faster decision model.

      Cons

      The company is in a change management process based on the possibility of being acquired by Saint Gobain (discussions ongoing in Switzerland Court). Besides this, the current economy environment in Brazil generates higher stress in local operations due to a lower sales volume and a low profitability.

As you mentioned we adopt a decentralized management structure, which we feel empowers local management teams to make strategic decisions based on their local markets. The overall goal of all of our Sika subsidiaries is to achieve the targets set out in our Strategy 2018, whilst being able to quickly adapt to the local environment. We continue to invest in the Latin America region and during the last financial year we saw a growth of 9.5%. Thank you to you and all of your colleagues who helped to make this possible.

      Sika is a market leader in many of its target markets. They have a great company structure and very friendly staff

      From my experience with Sika I have yet to have and experiences that were negative

      good company with superior technology to enable developing, caring for employees, continuous improvement and learning

      Cons

      expectations are not always met, it becomes more and more bureaucracy, but in general, the company shows a good positive and harmonious work
