Pros
The people made the day bearable 12hr shift was okay Opportunity for advancement very good if you speak up for yourself Opportunity to learn new things very good if you speak up for yourself
Cons
Constantly talking about communication yet the communication between upper and mid level management was often inadequate. To focused on finger pointing instead of clear and concise problem solving Accountability only matters when certain individuals are involved (usually of the darker complexion) No kind of adequate training and onboarding of new employees They only talk about the bad never about the good…highlighting the good is great for morale. Pay is not decent until you get to skilled positions People in skilled positions that should not be all because they need a body. No continuous training or yearly refresher for skilled positions. Poor morale Poor preventative maintenance program. Equipment is poor working state With little to no support from maintenance department due to complacency and poor training Lack of support to mid level management period they preach a one team aspect but that’s not the reality supervisors don’t work together, often pitted against one another. Supervisors should be conveying same message that’s never the case.
