Pros

They are the highest paying banks in the area. They have a high level of commitment to the consumer and to the employees.

Cons

Currently, they are buying several banks and expanding at a rapid rate. The way things are going, I believe they are preparing to sell the bank in the next 5-10 years so corporate transitions are being made as far as benefits go.

Pros

Simmons is a growing bank that can serve as a good training ground. There are also opportunities to advance your career.

Cons

Simmons is not a place to get fairly compensated if you are experienced. The company looks at its employees as costs rather than assets. Also not a progressive company; it has grown too fast and it's systems and policies haven't kept up. They are focused on cutting costs at the expense of employees and morale has suffered.
