Way too much shift covering
Pros
The job title. Yes that is literally it.
Cons
Youre a manager who doesn't manage you'll essentially be sticking patients all day running between clinics as the workplace seemingly can't get hires Non competitive wages. McDonald's managers make 21$ per hour. As a lead Phlebotomist w 10 years healthcare experience you'll be making 17$ (lowest is 16 highest is 18) insultingly low No benefits no office no business cards no fuel reimbursement. Driving an hour to cover a shift then expected to drive another hour back to another place in another state. If workers call off you the MANAGER is expected to float there I'm not sure if I was a lead or a float at this point i "managed" for like a day the rest was covering shifts all day for call offs ALOT of rehab clinics. Yes that means the absolute hardest sticks due to blown veins No tollway reimbursement no reserved parking spot No upwards mobility no tuition benefits no grants just nothing on nothing One of the few jobs that take more than it gives
