      Great Projects and Coworkers

      Pros

      I've enjoyed the opportunity to work on a variety of projects that have really helped to build my skillset in different areas. In the time I've been at Simple Science I've acquired experience that would have taken 2-3x the amount of time to get at a larger company. I think this is due to the variety of projects you get to work on and the ownership that you're able to take quickly of different projects.

      Cons

      Fast paced, not great if you're used to a more corporate pace. And there can be long days during the busy times of the year.

      Pros

      I've worked at Simple Science for a number of years, I feel very, very fortunate to work along side such hard working individuals who are passionate about providing the best possible service and results. The culture is fairly casual and laid back (which is great), but always evolving and encourages forethought and creativity. Awesome location, fantastic co-workers, engaging projects.

      Cons

      People that want a corporate, do the same cookie-cutter thing every day 9-5, this isn't your place. Need to be dedicated and willing to take constructive feedback.

      Pros

      Snacks in the kitchen, clean workspace

      Cons

      Company practices a very toxic work environment, including working beyond the workday at home, late paychecks, underpayed paychecks, passive-aggressively encouraging coming in early and staying late. Business practices are shady and management is intentionally dishonest and manipulative of their employees.
