STS Offers: 1. Great Benefits package 2. Professional development incentives and assistance throughout the year 3. Great work culture 4. Work/Life balance
You get involved right away and you learn so much everyday. Whether it'd be from a fellow coworker or customer, you're exposed to a lot of information which in my opinion helps you grow as an engineer and person. STS doesn't treat it's employees like employees, you get treated like family. They are always checking in on you to make sure all is going well. They also encourage you to learn/gain new skills via taking certifications and they have many resources to make sure you learn and become successful. It's truly a family like environment of hardworking people, that understand that there is more to life than just work, they make sure you get plenty of time off to be with your family and loved ones.
Cons
No cons come to mind, in my 2 years working at STS, I have yet to encounter something I'd consider a con.
- STS wants to invest in employees. You'll be encouraged (but not required) to do career development work, to the extent that you're given a stipend to pay for classes/certifications
- Management and employees are friendly, and they are actively trying to create a genuine company culture, but there is no "forced fun-time". If you're like me and hate the idea of a mandatory after-hours zoom happy hour, you're in luck. The culture is there, but it's not overbearing
- Solid benefits despite being a small company
Cons
None that I can think of. It's a good place to work
