Not the place to grow - but not a bad place to learn

Pros

Working in the digital arm of Sinclair, Compulse marketing, it was a good opportunity to see how an agency functions. Most of the people there are good people, decent place to make some good connections and friends in the industry. At 5:00PM most days, the work is done, and can be picked up the next day. No long hours needed.

Cons

Although it's a good place to be exposed to the field, don't expect to make career moves unless you're ready to stay there for long periods of times. Even if you are more experienced, and actively take on more work in other departments, you will still need to wait for management to think you have enough time with the company for a promotion. The pay was not great, but that is somewhat standard when starting in the marketing industry. Upper management is very out of the loop with how things function within departments, and have no interest in addressing any issues or listening to suggestions from team members.
