      Great for Growth, Not For Roots

      Pros

      Channel 2 gave me a lot of great opportunities to grow in my selected career path. Because of low staffing, you are immersed into many different facets of news gathering which required producing content under a lot of pressure. That pressure really forces you to get good at your job and quick. I definitely was able to put a lot on my resume because of this place.

      Cons

      The list of cons is far greater than is worth writing in this column. News is not an easy beast to fight and it's even harder when you add nearly bare bones staffing, over management (4 managers over 10 other employees, just in the news department, at one point), LOW pay, extreme disorganization, and no accountability. Working here is not for the faint of heart.
