Woefully Apathetic

Pros

The actual station has good people, and even good managers who work in the trenches. Managers at the station do their best to accommodate your schedule, and will do their best to fight on your behalf when internal conflict arises.

Cons

The parent company did a number of foolish things with funds, forcing them to put on a two year wage freeze, so no one got any kind of raise. On top of that, they provide no bonus compensation for people who work overnight schedules, and they do not pay us what we are reasonably worth. And don't get me started about not even trying to keep up with inflation, but instead giving us more time off... that we can earn through their accrual system without providing days after 6 months so we will only get half of the bonus time they are promising us. Yeah the general impression received through their actions is that corporate just doesn't care.

I literally can’t think of 1 positive thing to say

Cons

There is a culture of bullying & harassment here that I’ve never seen before. Low pay, minimum benefits, PTO requests denied. The list goes on & on
