Pros

Great team surrounding you. Reporters and producers work together to tell a story in a team atmosphere. Equipment is standard and easy to work with.

Cons

Management is impossible to read and they'll change your shift hours without even discussing it. Don't expect good pay or more than a 1% raise.

Pros

Company makes business decisions that make sense.

Cons

Sinclair is still learning the news business and the specifics of running a larger news operation. It blatantly prioritizes profit over journalism. Cuts in the news department are resulting in staff being stretched to max, having to cover vacant shifts, and pump out content which reduces time to plan ahead or do in-depth stories.
