Pros

People are nice in terms of coworkers and middle management- people are hard-working in my group and are competent.

Cons

I was told(quite the opposite from my interview and what my recruiter told me) that one of the contractors who recently became full time got his transition because (unofficially and I know this is hearsay since there was no documentation) He worked beyond forty hours a week. Payroll complained about the excessive overtime and because of this contractor the overtime was revoked unbeknownst to me since my recruiter never told me of this change. Midway into my first week I was told I was doing a good job but in order for them to consider me for full time employment I would also have to come in early( which means work for one or two hours for free every day) to prove my dedication to the company even though I'm non exempt( illegal but I guess not when you don't put it down in writing). It's this mentality, their redundancy in their processes, and the belief that by pushing people who honestly believe this company is worth that kind of effort( it's tv not cancer patients) that has contributed to my quest to let everyone know how antiquated and backwards-thinking they are. I also have to work a nine hour a day shift not because I couldn't just work through my lunch but their corporate policy prevents any employees from not taking an hour break... But you are ok with unofficially asking people to work for free? Stay away no one deserves this treatment- all technology and equipment is from the 00's. They don't even have half of the equipment they deploy to test out in house because of the archaic procedures
