Pros

Large network of TV Stations that cold potentially lead to promotions. Friendly work environment. Company is dedicated to maintaining largest broadcast status.

Cons

Low wages, no opportunity to work outside of role (even for free), overnight hours also very hard to adjust to. Cannot apply for other roles within the company within 1 year of start date. Company spends heavy on acquiring stations, but not willing to offer as many full-time positions.

Pros

It's a big company, so deciding to move around within its confines to other parts of the country is somewhat easy to do. It will, at least at first, spend money to improve things if key assets have been neglected.

Cons

Micromanagement makes it difficult to do anything well. There are so many, often conflicting, directives that it's demoralizing to try and sort through what should be done and reconcile that with a number of people who are not communicating effectively to push one uniform idea.
