Pros

Work for a TV station, sometimes meet cool people, and free food if a restaurant comes on the news

Cons

Heavy pressure for new business in a small market selling Ad space to local businesses with small budgets. Tough for repeat business because most campaigns don't drive enough leads/ROI.

Pros

At first, it paid a little more and was less nasty than working in fast food.As in retail, they don't pay well as their goal is to keep overhead as low as possible, so they don't attract good workers or good management, and if they do get someone good, the worker doesn't stay with the company.

Cons

As in retail, they don't pay well as their goal is to keep overhead as low as possible, so they don't attract good workers or good management, and if they do get someone good, the worker doesn't stay with the company.
