Newsroom is a pressure cooker. Salaries are lower than at competitors. Sinclair “must-runs” and company mandates and control wear down employees in local newsrooms. Journalism ethics are often lacking. Sinclair is also not a good community partner.

Management doesn't value their employees as much as they should. Low pay, understaffed at a small station, difficult to be sick as no replacements are planned out for the previously departed employees who were unhappy as well. Hours are not flexible, let alone chosen by employees themselves.
