Cheap company, no work-life balance

Pros

I work with a nice staff of people who try the best they can with the resources available.

Cons

The company is incredibly cheap and locks people into contracts they have no ability to pay back. There is not a lot of emphasis on training or professional development. Employees work for pennies while expected to do much more with a lot less.

Pros

The pay isn't terrible compared to other smaller broadcast companies, like Raycom.

Cons

The company is led by a board of reactionary, old white men. If a reporter pitches a story that is deemed too liberal (see also: neutral), management shuts it down. Managers edit stories to fit with the corporate conservative outlook. No respect for news staffers' personal lives or private time.
