Pros

There is plenty of work to keep you busy, most things are exciting and fast paced, and management treats you like an adult, unlike other places I've worked at.

Cons

Some of the work can be a little tedious, and the pay is pretty miserable.

Pros

Sinclair Has really good benefits. However, this is the only pro. Yes you can make a lot of money, but that's with any sales job on commission.

Cons

where do I start? If you want to work for "big brother" then this is for you! They are unorganized and too big for their own good. Also, they don't take responsibility for their mess ups. They make you feel it was something you could've done to make it better, when you know deep down that it was a corporate issue or fault of their own. You are a number and not a person. We got bought out by Sinclair in 2014 and over the course of a year saw at 5 employees get fired. We also had a couple of employees leave including a manager because they new about Sinclair and refuse to work for them. That was a red flag right there. Learn to create wealth for yourself and not depend on a company like Sinclair broadcast group. There are plenty of opportunities to be your own boss and not worry about the modern day slavery we call "corporate America." I'm a free market capitalist, but I'm tired of making other people rich who care nothing about me.

Far too big for their own good, especially for their employees good.

Pros

They WILL spend money on equipment.

Cons

Horrible, close to criminal, lack of oversight of upper management. Abuse of workers and requiring, not expecting, requiring 50-60 PLUS hour weeks of salaried people. Supposedly have transfers to other stations within the group, but those are only available if you play their political games just right. I graduated from High School years ago and have never since then seen people form cliques, so many supposedly professional leaders, form cliques that prevent anyone not willing to bend over backwards for the company from getting any advancement. Virtually everyone I knew, when they gave 2 weeks notice they were immediately escorted out the door. Their attitude is "If your going to have the nerve to quit on us we will do our last little bit to screw you" AND they will then claim THEY terminated YOU and you are on the no rehire blacklist. HR will hit you up for every minor thing YOU may do against company policy, even unpublished policies, but they will NOT lift a finger when the company is doing things that are actually illegal, like putting you in a remote location with no restroom facilities or access to food or drink, and expect you to work a 16 hour shift there. HR works for the company, and boy do the employees know it.
