This is a cut throat environment, that management supports . The truth is dead at SiriusXM. Employees are expected to work late into the night and weekends with out compensation. Late night and weekends (Saturday and Sunday) are standard. There is no work life balance.

Unfortunately, the employee-friendly days of XM Satellite Radio have disappeared. Since the merger with Sirius, the "tone from the top" has changed markedly to a more Wall Street like atmosphere. Cold and impersonal - the team atmosphere has all but vanished. With the company's financial troubles, employees are expected to "work around" issues and duct tape together cheaper systems, but management expects the same enterprise-level performance from these bargain solutions.
