Pros

Sittercity is a mission-driven company with employees that are passionate about using technology to solve the underserved needs of families and sitters. New leadership has reinvigorated the company, and our growth plan and product roadmap are something to be incredibly excited about. Data and a drive for innovation have given us the momentum we need to accelerate our mission in 2018 and beyond, and I can't wait to see what we accomplish this year. Sittercity is also a great place to work if you're looking for individual professional growth. There are daily opportunities to learn new things, and leadership is very receptive to those who express interest in expanding their role/responsibilities. Not only does our team boast some of the smartest, most entrepreneurial talent in the tech industry, but we're also a fun, thoughtful, kind group.

Cons

Things move fast here and no one is defined to one set of responsibilities, so you'll often be challenged to take on new tasks and learn new skills. Team members are expected to adapt quickly and take on a lot at once, so this might not be the role for you if you're looking for a clearly defined position. However, if you can roll with the changes there's huge potential to make a big impact on the company and our mission!
