Pros

The company has a long history and will be around for a long time.

Cons

Sixt has changed for the worse over the last few years. It used to be a place you were proud to work at. The company was a higher end company that had a emphasis on high quality low mileage cars and great service. Now it's all about money and the cars are beat up with high mileage.

Dear former employee, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience with SIXT. We're thrilled to hear that you had a positive relationship with your managers and that you enjoyed the work atmosphere. That kind of feedback really means a lot to us. You're absolutely right to point out the challenges that come with seasonality in our business. Summer is our peak season and we know how demanding it can be. We're continuously working on improving workforce planning and providing better support to help maintain work-life balance, even during high-demand periods. Thank you again for your contribution and all the best for your next chapter – we truly appreciate everything you brought to SIXT! Best regards

Pros

Pros: you have a lot of autonomy, there’s not much in the way of micromanaging. Good corporate structure. Note: I last worked there august 2019, but they won’t let me choose 2019 as my most recent year.

Cons

Cons: all the money comes from commission, base is not enough to rely on. If you’re a strong salesperson it’s great, if you’re still learning sales this can be challenging to overcome.

Dear former employee, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. It’s great to hear that you appreciated the autonomy and structure at SIXT. We also understand your concerns regarding the commission-based earnings. While our compensation model rewards strong sales performance, we recognize that success in sales can be a learning curve. That’s why we’ve invested in structured onboarding programs and continuous training, designed to help every team member understand our products, connect with customers effectively and build the skills needed to succeed in a performance-driven environment. Thanks again for your feedback. We wish you all the best for the future! Best regards
