Pros

Things seemed promising at first when applying with Sixt as well as the interview process, and then everything went south.

Cons

Went through the interview process, got hired, was given two potential training days that were 19 days apart with very little notice of when the day would be chosen for me to begin. Then received a call letting me know the position in the location i applied for was no longer available as they were not opening the location (Costa Mesa).

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, we were unable to open our Costa Mesa location as soon as we had hoped, so instead of having candidates wait for the location to open we decided that we wanted to allow them the opportunity to find different employment in the meantime. Thankfully all candidates had the option of working or being considered for our various Los Angeles locations and we were able to place the select few that that were still in process and agreed to this change. We value you as a candidate and apologize for the inconvenience that this may have caused!

Pros

Sift is an amazing company to work for. If you work hard and show that you are willing to go the extra mile, they will make sure you are in a position where you can show your strengths.

Cons

The only con I can think of is relocation. For some people that may be a pro, but I like to stay where I am at.

Pros

Pay was decent but daily stress made it not worth it

Cons

Very unstructured work environment and very little support from management. Company trains associates to use risky and dishonest sales tactics. Sales agents end up getting the back lash from furious customers and management is not of much help.

Thank you for reviewing Sixt. Across the board, our Regional Sales Performance team, Supervisors, Trainers, and Managers are consistent with our sales training practices that focus on building relationships with customers and matching their needs with upgrades in the vehicle. Although we do encourage customers to upgrade when the offer matches their needs, we train our employees to approach the customer in a more consultative manner to not come off as aggressive. In no way would corporate encourage dishonest sales tactics that would damage our relationship with our customers. We would encourage you to reach out to Gaddy Fernandez, VP of HR, to discuss your review. She can be reached it 954-874-1793.
