Thanks for the review! Sixt strives to offer competitive pay rates in our market. Our recruiters stress the job responsibilities during the recruitment process for the Management Trainee program. We expect each Management Trainee to work an average of 50 hours a week, weekends, day time, and night hours included. It is a rigorous one year program that prepares you to run your own branch one day. That is a big responsibility, and we want to make certain our management trainees can maintain their branch. Good luck with the program, we're happy to have you!

Pros

Compensation (base + commission), decent benefits, growth potential

Cons

General sales quotas for the area instead of realistic expectations condusive to each locations demographics. Not enough cars to support the amount of business in the area. Constant conplaints from customers because of lack of cars in whatever car category they've booked and were displeased with what we had to offer as an alternative.

Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to review your position with Sixt! We greatly appreciate your positive feedback. In the rental car business, fleet is not always a seamless process. There will be challenges regarding fleet, but we strive to plan in advance and provide solutions. I will send your advice over to the correct department!

Pros

Branch Manager's Meeting locations are nice.

Cons

Promotional path is murky. Cross promotion within company is close to none. Salary not great compare to industry average. The top make the most money. This company lacks managerial training. Work to life balance. No loyalty towards front line management and front line employees. The difference between their European operation and their US operations. Employer lacks constant feedback. No yearly review to know what you need to work on.

Thanks for reviewing Sixt! We are a very performance based company, and overall compensation is dependent upon each individual's work conduct. We find our compensation is competitive compared to our market average. We apologize that you believe you were not given a performance review. I'll forward that over to our management. Best of luck in your future!
