Pros

-Soda fountain -Pizza Fridays -Some paid vacations -Met a few friends -Job security (if you can make it that long) -Updated building -Meal card (although limited)

Cons

-Horrible vacation benefits -Unfriendly staff by and large -Overworked GM's -Under appreciated hourly corporate team members -Full of "Yes-men" no backbones -Corporate members cowier to superiors -CEO talks one thing and does another -CEO has to have his hands in EVERY SINGLE ASPECT OF THE COMPANY--makes for constant changes and upset customers. -Not to mention uses passive aggressive communication to threaten employees -Says 3 G's are part of the culture, yet to be consistently seen -More focus on making the top rich while the working class suffers with long hours and impossible expectations "Guaranteed Advancement" not true unless you remove your backbone, lay down, and become a shell of a person. You must always say "yes", no if's and's or buts'.

Pros

A lot of employees in the corporate office have been around for more than 20 years. Sizzling Platter promotes from within. Family like, loyal, positive culture. Decent compensation. Involved in community charities. Good ethical, upper management. Good leadership.

Cons

Benefits are not where they should be. No bonus structure. Appalling vacation and holiday benefit. No 401k till after a year. Mediocre health care option. Biggest con is in this age of health conscious awareness for Real Food and demand for grass fed, organic, non-GMO food, the company isn't talking about it, the restaurants don't have those choices. Employees are encouraged and provided donuts and pizza but no work out facility or gym membership benefits. Needless to say there are a lot of overweight and obese people in the company.

So much missed potential.

Pros

Job security, you can do whatever you want because they think they need people. Employees rule the roost rather than management. It feels like you are surrounded by family....unfortunately sometimes it's the annoying cousins that you wish you only had to see twice a year.

Cons

The company pays well below the average for every position within the company. While they have a complete training program for every position it has never been implemented therefore you have a restaurant full of poorly trained employees. Consistently understaffed because the pay is low and employees are often treated poorly. No consistency from the company and they let the employees get away with everything just because they need people.
