Such a great group of people, great company, and an extremely recognizable brand name to work for that most people would die for!

Cons

Such a large company, you may sometimes feel like a little fish in a huge ocean, but there is definitely room for improvement.

Pros

Skanska makes a concerted effort to train all of their employees. Senior management seems to truly care that you are growing as an individual. They have spent a significant amount of money training us in the last year.

Cons

The company is rather large. Even in the Seattle office there are enough people to ensure that you will most likely never know all of the people on a first-name basis. This can be a problem for young professionals trying to climb the ladder.

This is a company that practices what it preaches. The number 1 concern of all management is Worker safety Working in NYC for 13 years I have heard and seen it all. Skanska is the only organization that means it, If a Skanska employee sees something that is or potentially could be dangerous that particular individual can shut the project down knowing they have the Support of Every member of management.

Cons

I havent found one as of yet. I have been with the company for 4 months.
