Pros

- Great Team. Honestly one of the best teams i've been a part of. The engineering team especially is a great group of smart, caring individuals. - Great WFH policy - Location. On K St. downtown. Close to Golden 1 Center and next to many attractions. Close to public transportation. - Great company culture. The people ops team really tries to make this a fun and rewarding place to work. At least one fun event per month and many improvements since I started working here (can someone say fancy new espresso machine?) - Perks galore. 3x catered lunches per week, $100/month wellness benefit (used for pretty much anything "wellness" related), ebook/audio book subscriptions, and more. - Many learning and growth opportunities - Working off site is common (beer included) - Engineering management really listens and cares

Cons

- Recently the ping pong table went away (understandably - it was loud) - Legacy product is no fun to work on. Thankfully there are many opportunities to work on new projects.

Pros

Autonomy, transparency, fun!!! The engineering team at skyslope seriously kicks butt (stupid profanity filter..) and is only getting better as we grow. I was hesitant accepting this job after considering the glassdoor reviews.. But I truly don't think they apply anymore. I'm drinking the kool-aid and I don't plan to stop any time soon. Join us, unless you can't execute, then we don't want you. Seriously though, the parties are lit! The company seems to be going in a good direction with lots of opportunity.

Cons

K street means parking and transients. Can get a little nervous sometimes walking down the street.
