Pros

The technology has real potential. The CEO and others in the leadership team have a lot of experience with NAND flash and hardware development, and a lot of ideas for how to make the product cheap, dense, and low power. Management seems very focused on fixing the flaws identified in the most recent employee survey. Management is following through on fixing the many complaints of engineering relating to build, source control, and internal processes.

Cons

There's a lack of project management. I don't know of anyone in the company who is specifically a PM. This leads to mediocre project management by regular managers, un-realistic deadlines, and a difficulty in executing. There is a tendency to request people work long hours and weekends; not specifically when an issue is critical, but generally. It looks like this is being addressed internally, though.
