Pros

Great working with friendly people focused on creating a cool product that helps people communicate with family and friends world wide.

Cons

The organization was working through a transition phase. A classic time when politics of a few degrades from progress of the whole.

Pros

Microsoft's Skype office in Stockholm had a great team with fantastic colleagues to work with, working on a product that revolutionized communication. Beautiful office with an open atmosphere.

Cons

As with most acquisitions, Microsoft did in the long run a poor job in keep driving innovation and user value, and instead keeps people busy with integration projects and merging of tech-stacks.
