      At a bit of a tipping point, but still a great place to work.

      Pros

      The people are great. The work is interesting. The company is privately and employee owned, so there aren’t external shareholder pressures. We live our values.

      Cons

      We don’t consult well to ourselves and we are slow to make change internally. We usually get there in the end.

      Pros

      Some of the brightest, creative, and caring people that I have ever worked with work at Slalom.

      Cons

      Slalom is going through the process of trying to figure out who they want to be. Changes to the consulting industry and in client behavior and motions have not been fielded well by Executive leadership. The employees and middle management are paying for that lack of direction. It is not the exciting and supportive place to work at that it once was.
