      Pros

      Slalom is a good company to grow, as an introduction to the consulting world they were very supportive and community involved

      Cons

      Consulting is mostly about social. You need to win trust from principals, managers, seniors, etc. to be considered in future roles. As an average introvert engineer you will have to push yourself to be more active on getting to know and build bonds with other areas of the company.

      The company has struggled to grow over the last 18 months and has gone through a series of lay offs The exciting opportunities and growth culture isn't clear anymore as the org structure feels more rigid and new roles are not being created Sometimes this feels like it creates an imbalance between the culture they want to have and the experience that employees have on a day to day
