Pros

Great people and great culture.

Cons

They talk about consulting, but especially in the business consulting group, it's really more of a staff aug company, not much true consulting work. Pay is on the low side.

This is John Tobin. I feel we are really working on this in Dallas. We started out more focused on our technology practices there, but the strides we are making in our business advisory services areas is very evident to me. Feel free to provide other anonymous feedback to feedback@slalom.com.

Pros

Hands down the best place I have worked for in my 20+ years of professional experience. Why? Because it is the culture. It is not just a fancy word used for employee retention. Sure they have the game room, the stocked fridge etc. But more important - every time I meet up with my "buddies" or listen to the leaders speak I feel two inches taller. There is a sense of belonging that I have not experienced elsewhere. This is a place that makes me believe in myself and proud of what I do at work. To me that is priceless!! Dont take my word for it. Talk to a Slalomite and you will know!

Cons

It is all local gigs. That is good. But sometimes it get so crazy at the customer I dont get a chance to connect with the mothership often. Wish there was a way to stay engaged and still serve the customer onsite.
